The New Law School… is emblematic of the aspirations of the University itself. The thoroughly modern spaces provide us with an elegant and light-filled learning and research environment… I believe the new building will stimulate our teaching, and inspire our scholars in their research… In short, the new purpose-built structure will help us to be the world leader in legal education that we aspire to be.

Central to the teaching of Law is the physical and symbolic importance of the Moot Court as it facilitates the learning and assessment in the fields of mediation, alternative dispute resolution, client interview and accommodates mock trials and courtroom simulations.
The design is the most integrated technology-enabled “courtroom” in Australia. Combined with lounge, function spaces and the primary lecture theatre, it accommodates events and interaction with the profession and wider community including international moots.
